You are, of course, more than welcome to fight for that.
However, I would like to point out that the idea behind the Gallentean state is the idea that it is okey for one person to lord over another.
Okay, I've kept quiet on Gal-Net.
But your philosophy is just trash. Without government, might makes right. And, of course, you guys are trying to prove that.
Don't like a government? Don't like the oppressive parts of a culture? Don't like a "meme"? Then try to convince people, work to change it, or just move away. I tried that and it worked just fine.
Or you could bully people around for what they think and what they say. Might as well... It makes your point clearer: Without governments, whoever has the guns makes the laws.

Possibly its time for you start backing up your opinions with some action in space then Yarod. At the moment all I've seen from you is running away.
I think it's going to be a long war. Neither of us can force a fight when the other won't commit. Both sides are avoiding combat when outnumbered and outgunned. That's why Star Fraction would not engage last night.
And thanks for proving my point again.

The way we heard it your 13 strong fleet scattered in terror from five of us Yarod. I know we have a fearsome reputation but even so. I think you "held" a system a couple of jumps from our forward base for about five minutes before we scrambled together a couple of battleships and a HAC to drive you back to your docks. At this stage its a bit ludicrous for CYI to talk about "commitment" and "forcing fights" - we've spent the entire week harrassing your agent-runners because your fleet is fundimentally gutless.
We turned back when we found the only Star Fraction pilots in Stacmon were docked. But whatever, it's funny when you misread the situation - or are those the reports your pilots send up to you?

Your turned back in a matter of minutes like frightened children at the approach of a lone scout ship Yarod. You started running when Star Fraction undocked and kept running until your fleet fell to pieces and individual captains docked and abandoned the muster. Tip-toeing up to our front door and playing "knock-down-ginger" only to run away in terror the moment a Merlin scouts your fleet is not going to win you much praise and plaudits from campaign veterans.
Your action reports are almost as bad as your talk about freespace and oppression. Have you ever known anything but privilege and freedom? Take it from a tube child who ran up against the megacorps, your talk about the "oppressive" Federation is garbage.
And so are your battle reports:
Quote:
While shortly afterwards pilot Wrayeth went on to lose his own Crow interceptor to a Team Javelin bait and kill from a Jaguar class Assault frigate backed by a Scorpion class Battleship.
Wrong. I took the chance to sneak into Stacmon and get my battleship out. We wanted more firepower and some ECM in our gang as we hunted IU. I beat Wrayeth's interceptor out of Stacmon and through Aidart. He caught me in Cistuvaert, and I was able to call in my wife in her Jaguar as backup.
You're either getting bad reports from pilots or you don't care about telling lies. And the stakes in this fight are high, so don't expect us to wait around to fight at your convenience.

I think this is a mix up of times. I can not find the incident of Wrayeth loosing a crow anytime recently. And Tomahawk referred to an event which happened last night specificly. You might be thinking of some other time or a dream. I was on last night with the only 3 other pilots including someone flying a deadly Merlin. 4 versus 13 seemed like almost fair odds. With the chance to engage Cyrene. By the time we rubbed our eyes and checked our ears hearing of undocked ships, we jumped in ships, and flew out you scattered your 13 man fleet of half battleships. I flew to pursue even though intelligence reports said most if not all had gone planetside.
But this is all details of combat, killboard references, and so on. I will let Jade summarize the details of the campaign when her next installment of the diary is published. She does a much better job than I could ever attempt.
Persoanlly, I feel confident in my abilities and curent state during the war. I have done a greater good and continue towards the shared goals of Star Fraction pilots.
The quote is from Jade Constantine, not Tomahawk Bliss. She began this thread with her story of the war. I quoted her directly.
Kovid,
We don't fight at your convenience. We fight when we see targets and like the odds. Sorry you missed out on a chance for some action. We're just a thorn in your Star Fraction ideals of fun and destruction.
Bliss,
I don't get the reference to shuttles. See you in space.
